Mad About Moss

I’m finding it hard to get back into the school routine, how about you??  And I continue to battle some technical difficulties here, but I appreciate your patience while it gets sorted out.  Individual posts can still be accessed, just not my home page… boo.

On a happy note, the amazing folks over at Hometalk contacted me about this little ‘ole project

Don’t we all love some easy DIYs??

And can you imagine all the wonderful possibilities of MOSS??

Well, to my surprise I was invited to compile a clipboard of moss goodness over on Hometalk!  Do you Hometalk??  If not, you are missing out on yet another source of incredible creativity and know-how when it comes to our homes.  I especially love that you can post questions and get answers from home professionals!

Anyway, I couldn’t resist gathering some inspiring moss projects to share.  What I realized during the process is how seasonless moss can be!  A wonderful way to incorporate a natural element into your decor this fall, this Christmas, or next spring.  Check out what I came up with!

Hometalk Moss DIY projects

I am always amazed at the creativity that floats around this world wide web, aren’t you?  And now that I’ve clipped these projects, I’m on the hunt for even more… and will be stocking up on some moss for my fall and holiday decorating.

To see all these up close and personal, click on the graphic above or right HERE.  And I would love for you to follow me while you’re there.

I’ll be back Friday to share the furniture I painted for my daughter’s new apartment… if you follow me on Instagram you’ve already gotten a peek!

Enjoy the day!  And — do tell — which moss project would you like to try out?

  1. i always love the moss door hangers- like the monograms and birds i have seen people make.

  2. I have a funny story about folks who used real moss in a tablescape once. Let’s just say it didn’t work out exactly as they’d hoped.

  3. There were a lot of folks mad about moss around these parts but they meant Randy Moss!
