What I’m Loving: NYC… in Pictures

My NYC photos are all edited and ready to share!  It was such a great weekend… I thought I’d let the photos tell the tale. 🙂

Survivor Tree 9-11 Memorial

*Sorry to interrupt!  This tree was salvaged from the rubble of the towers, nursed back to health in a conservatory, and then transplanted back to the memorial last year.  It was awarded this…

Sigh.

Love that city.  Hubs totally enjoyed himself and would love to go back and see more… including another Broadway Show!  Score one for the good girls!

Can’t wait to go back… taking my girl after she finishes finals for a Girls’ Trip.  Woo hoo!

Ever been to NYC?  What’s your favorite thing about the city?

  1. Looks like you had a FABULOUS time in the city of lights!!!! Isn’t it magical! Next time you are there — let me know and maybe I can pop in and treat you to lunch! Love the pictures and love that you are smiling the whole time. Obviously I have been to NYC…went to school there also at the New School and I am about 25 minutes outside of NYC in Jersey! I have a lot of favorites that is for sure but one of my “regulars” is the Metropolitan Museum of Art if I had to pick just one — oh yes and I love having lunch in Central Park and just do some people watching : ) Sending hugs and thanks for sharing all the marvelous pictures… the 9/11 Memorial is amazing but still hard to comprehend that it actually happened…seems a bit like yesterday and now over 11 years…
thanks for the wonderful post and just want you to know that I have something planned for the giveaway I won from you a bit ago…going to be used in a Merry Christmas project!!! : ) Enjoy your day!

  2. Looks like you had a wonderful adventure. I love the “Country Boy In Times Square” picture. So poetic – lol. I want to go in December – just before Christmas – and see all of the holiday lights and a show or two. Have a great day!

  3. I haven’t been there in about 10 years. I would really love to go back. Great pictures and glad you had a good time!!

  4. Looks like you have a wonderful time Heidi!…hmm, what I love most about the city other than the shopping and the attractions is the energy..the energy of the city….when you are there you are exhilarated from all of the excitement that the city provides…love it there!

  5. We drove through NY when my kids were small, but didn’t sight see. I’d love to go now that I don’t have any kids in tow.

  6. What – you were a hop, skip and jump away from me! Glad you enjoyed the city – it’s amazing!
