More Thrifty Finds {Can’t Stop Myself}

Oh, well.  My back-to-school schedule will soon severely curtail my thrifting, so I was guilt -free when I hit an outdoor flea market with my friend and booth partner Michelle on Friday.  The onslaught of check-writing has already begun (those of you with school age children know of what I speak!), so funds were limited, but I scored some super fun deals anyway. 🙂

Paint projects galore!!  And check out those wooden mill bobbins.  I have no idea what I’ll do with them, but they are way cool and will be a fun texture addition to my home or the booth.    The little baby book is actually a cloth book.  I’m so in love with the illustrations!

How cute are these?

I’m seeing these pages mod-podged onto canvases for nursery decor.  How about you?

The skies opened up on us after a couple of hours, so we headed across the street to the thrift store and I once again scored a deal on lampshades. 🙂

Yep, still in the packages — $6 for the pair. 🙂

I’m envisioning this project for these…

My home or the booth?  That’s the question.  But for $3 a piece, I don’t think I can go wrong either way.

We have a busy week ahead, getting the boys ready for school starting and my daughter back to UGA, but I’m hoping to wrap up a few projects this week, too.  Lofty goals!  Wish me luck. 🙂

How about you? Are y’all back in school yet?  Any thrifty treasures of your own lately?
