Last weekend was one of the busiest of late, but I managed to finish my Pass It On projects in the midst of the May Madness… woo hoo! Here’s a couple of sneak peeks until I can get them safely en route to Megan of Balancing Home and Lisa of Budget Design Girl. I’m so thrilled these sweet lady bloggers have agreed to partake!
This project is one that evolved as I was working on it… I started out with one idea in mind.
Wrestled a bit with it.
Wrestled a bit more with it.
And changed my mind again.
But I think it ended up being exactly what it needed to be.
I love it when that happens…
And, I finally caved to the urge to polish up some of my silver pieces.
You win, Mom and Nana! Much as I love the tarnished look, I was ready for some cleaned up and polished, too.
But I bet you never used these as a polishing rag before…
I mean, who knew my youngest would decide he was no longer a briefs kinda guy? Barely worn. And Lord knows, I can’t see my way clear to donate them.
So I put them to work instead.
At least I don’t have to worry about THESE getting shanghai’d for a car wash rag.
Ha.

P.S. I am so impressed that you POLISH your silver. Mine has that tarnish patina thing going on. Silver polishing is right up there with toilet bowl cleaning on my fun meter. 😉 But I can see how some may find it therapeutic. …Give me a vacuum cleaner, and it’s equal to shrink time on the couch! I love to make tracks! Anyhow, I’m sure your silver looks gorgeous! –Not sure what prompted this weird little tangent… hehe. sorry.
