Dear friends,
My heart is heavy and concentrated on my children this week, as we mourn the loss of one of their sweet cousins.
When they gather again this summer, this heart will be one young person smaller.
One man’s choice to get behind the wheel while intoxicated has changed this family forever.
Last week I posted about my “faceless angel” painting. That painting has a face to me now. One with blue eyes and blonde hair and a smile that could light up the world.

i am still praying for you and your family- this picture is so sweet. but it breaks my heart.
My heart aches for your family and others who suffer so greatly due to someone else making such a selfish choice. That you have such a sweet photo of all the family children tells me you and they are surrounded by love and you will be there to hold each other up. I am so sorry for your family’s loss of this sweet child.
