I hope this finds you relaxing and enjoying the holiday season… finally! And it’s high time I shared some of my Christmas touches around my home. Confession: I only just finished decorating a few days ago. I had to say “uncle” with everything going on around here, so I didn’t get to some of the projects I had planned. But maybe next year.
In the family room…
My beloved wisemen with a berry garland, the shepherd and sheep, evergreen in a pot, and a white poinsetta. I really wanted to create a neat cover for the poinsetta pot. next year.
On the bookcase, an ornament tree I crafted, a glass canister filled with ornaments (simple!), my deer, and a little German wooden Santa my sister gave me years ago. Keeping it simple.
More ornaments on a silver tray with a pillar candle. I had plans for the candle. next year. And more of my spray painted sticks from my yard in my blue urn. There’s supposed to be a mirror hanging there but we didn’t get to it.
On to my kitchen…
Simple touches on the island. I keep it minimal, as my space is at a premium!
I love to hang festive ornaments from my cabinet knobs– a simple decorative touch that doesn’t take up valuable workspace!
And my foyer…
My Santos Angel stays out year round, but I added a little “peace” ornament. And my collection of pear ornaments on a silver tray.
Greenery and ornaments nestled in a simple urn and my whimsical little Santa luminary on — yes– a silver dish. Love decorating with silver pieces!
You’ve seen my office…
And my dining room centerpiece…
Notice how many ornaments I decorated with? In every room… such a simple touch!
And now for my tree…
My gift wrap isn’t all color coordinated this year… we were trying to use up what we had. So maybe next year, the gifts will be more cohesive looking. 🙂 Maybe.
Hope you enjoyed this peek into my world this Christmas. Here’s hoping you have a lovely Christmas full of laughter and love and the joys of the season. Many blessings to you all.
xoxo,
Love how your bookshelves are staged! Cannot believe tomorrow is Christmas! Merry Christmas to you and your family.
I love the little touches here and there. This year I went a little overboard and am looking to simplify next year. Using this inspiration, I’m going to think simple, sophisticated and stylish!
