I was lucky enough to have some time on Saturday to go prowling around one of my favorite antique haunts, A Classy Flea.
I have several things in my own home from this shop and have patronized them for years. This time around, I was on the hunt for a lamp for my mom and was also doing a little field research for an upcoming project (what a cool place to do research!!). Lots of goodies to be had…
I don’t know why I forget about antique shops for unusual (and inexpensive) mirrors!
And how about this vintage looking lamp… I’m picturing this in a girl’s room.
This little guy made me laugh out loud! He’s actually a PIGGY BANK!
Adore pieces like this round Stickley table– so many possibilities!
And this awesome pair of sconces (note the fleur de lis on top!)… thinking I’ll go back and snag them for the Mom Cave…
I’m always drawn to miscellaneous silver pieces, including these forks, knives, cups, etc.
And I loved the open weave netting in the display, too!
Some very cool towel rings here, too!
Storage GALORE in this piece! I’m seeing a chalk paint project here. 🙂
More fabulous mirrors here… kicking myself for not snapping these up! I’m sure they’re long gone now.
This caught my eye– silver tray turned clock!
The coup of the day– this lamp for my mom. It’ll be on its way to Texas soon!
If you’re in the Atlanta area, check out A Classy Flea! You can also find them online and on Facebook. No, they didn’t pay me to plug them, I just like to share a good thing when I find it. 🙂
What are your favorite places to prowl for unusual pieces??
Happy Hunting!
Wowzers, what great pieces. The first two mirrors would be a
Sowers! Gorgeous finds Holly! Either one of the first two mirrors would make a beautiful statement piece. Love them.
I drag my kids in there all the time! They love the hunt as well. Have to go when I don’t have a deadline to meet though! Loved the detail on that rose lamp base.
Love it all! I will be in Atlanta for “Haven” this summer. Now I really can’t wait. maybe I will need to plan on staying an extra few days 😉 Thanks for sharing this jewel of a place.
This looks like a fabulous store. I’ve read about it before. Wish I lived closer. It would be great to have you join me at Seasonal Sundays.
