Winter Door Decor and on Choosing Joy

Happy Monday, friends… I hope you all had a restful weekend! After all the turmoil of the past weeks I did rest a bit and did a LOT of work towards a new undertaking I’ll share with you soon.  And I finally got the Christmas decorations off the front porch.  Yes, we were THAT family this year.  Ugh.  Anyhoo, getting my front porch cleared and refreshed for winter got me thinking about winter door decor.  And a quick visit to Pinterest gave me plenty of inspiration for dressing the front door for winter.

Here’s a few of my favorites…

And this one isn’t technically door decor, but I think it would be awesome hanging on a door, don’t you?

Just looking at beautiful images and thinking about something creative brings me joy.  Remember that’s my Word of the Year for 2015!  And with everything going on at school, I’ve had to train myself to look for joy in my everyday.  So if you’re on Instagram,  you’ll find many of my IG photos with the hashtags #choosejoy and #everydayjoy.  Won’t you join me?  Hashtag your photos and I’ll share a few each week here… because shouldn’t we all choose joy?  And it’s abundant in our everyday if we just look for it.

I hope you have a blessed day, friends… and remember to CHOOSE JOY! #choosejoy #everydayjoy
