My Winter Mantle

Ahhhh… keeping my winter mantle super simple this year.

Sorry for the little ceiling fan pull hanging down!  Yes, {gasp!} we have a ceiling fan in our family room.  🙂  If I want my pretty pillows to stay on the sofa, I had to concede something to the Y chromosomes in the household!  And yes, they are the only ones that ever turn it on.

Here’s the low down:

Mirror — Ballard Designs (actually Ballards’ Backroom, their outlet)

gold frame — antique

Mercury glass pillar holders — Pottery Barn (on sale last January)

Silver deer — Casabella’s (local home decor store) on sale last year

Gold deer — Christmas ornament (gift)

Sconces — Willow House Cordova Wall Sconces

Topiary — DIY project in (discontinued) Willow House Bradshaw House planter (tute coming soon!).

What’s on your winter mantle this year??

  1. Just beautiful Heidi! I love the mirror and the layering you displayed.

  2. I love the Ballard Outlet! I accompanied my husband to Atlanta for a meeting and I got to shop. I went to two locations, and went to one of those twice! I got a steal on some fabric that I just made into curtain panels and some other fun finds also. I really wanted that mirror but couldn’t get it home with me. I would really be in trouble if there was one in our town!

Your mantle is beautiful! I think the first picture is really cool how the light is reflected in each little panel of the mirror.

  3. Wow!! Your mantle looks great, as if a professional designed it. Good job.

  4. So pretty Heidi, I love how you layered everything and combined the silver and gold.

  5. Love your mantle and I would love to have those deer. They look great up there.

  6. LOVE your mantel! It is beautiful!

  7. Heidi, this is absolutely gorgeous! I love the silver, and I adore your mirror! Sooooo pretty!

  8. Love it to pieces!! Thanks so much for linking up to Overflowing with Creativity!! Have you entered my giveaway yet?
