One of the "perks" of being laid up with a foot injury for the past weeks is watching endless hours of HGTV. I mean, ask me what marathon is on today and I promise I can tell ya. :) Anyhoo, I was so excited for the new show "Genevieve's Renovation", where she (Genevieve Gorder) renovates her NYC apartment. I was NOT excited that it aired at 11 pm, though, so I now have all the episodes on my DVR. #winning As I was watching my own … [Read more...]

Just for Fun Friday
T.G.I.F! We made it through the first week of school... though both high schoolers slept though blaring alarms this morning and had to be rousted manually (i.e. by Mom) so they could get to school on time. Boo to early mornings. Yesterday I made some "Yippee!" kind of headway on the Ugly Duckling dining room, so I thought it would fun to share some little victories in what's turned out to be QUITE to undertaking. Remember my sad lamp on … [Read more...]
I Can’t Resist… John Gidding on HGTV’s Curb Appeal
During a handful of days of spent *recovering* from my daughter's graduation and my son's departure for Greece, I lounged in front of the telly, flipping back and forth between the French Open and HGTV.
